Palos Verdes Golf Club
The Palos Verdes Golf Club was originally designed in 1924 by West Coast architect George Thomas and his assistant William Bell. The club boasts panoramic views and includes an elegant Spanish style clubhouse that has been a center for Peninsula social life since the 1920s.
The project involved designing extensive additions and remodeling of the clubhouse, unifying various historical styles, and providing the desired expansion while maintaining the integrity of the original design. The renovation added 18,000 sf of space includind a lobby, a 300-seat dining room, a new commercial kitchen and a subterranean delivery loading. The parking lot was also expanded.
